My goal for these ebook illustrations was to avoid illustrating detailed characters or scenes, but rather create typographic illustrations and icons to represent the characters. The book itself is so descriptive that I didn’t want to take away the chance that the reader has to use their imagination!

A class I attended at Liberty University taught me how to code this type of ebook. The Wizard of Oz is public domain, so I plan to revisit this project, finish the entire book with my original illustrations, and self-publish the completed ebook on Amazon! These illustrations won a Second Place Adobe Academic Achievement Award through Liberty University, in partnership with Adobe.
