SPRING 2022

I love abstract illustration concepts so I couldn’t resist creating something fun for this popular ice cream machine! It is currently displayed at Virginia Tech’s largest dining center, D2.

I created these illustrations in Adobe Photoshop using various types of gouache paintbrushes from Kyle’s Paintbox (from Adobe’s free brush library). I used a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet with its pressure-sensitive pen to get all of the beautiful texturing. Part of the branding I established for D2 includes textured illustrations, so it ties in well with all of their recent updated graphics!
