This band has been one of my favorites to design for! I explored quite a few different designs, focusing on creating texture and connecting with the band’s personality.

When the band decided on their name, Buzzard’s Wake, I began sketching and developing some ideas for their logo. The first design is inspired by vintage textures and a vulture buzzard’s skull. The second is a fully custom typeface built around my sketches and vintage lettering styles. The third option is inspired by classic Americana tattoos.
